Welcome to Little Eden Preschool! My name is Rebecca Zimmerman and I am excited to bring a unique home-based preschool experience to the Ogden Valley. My passion has always been educating little ones and seeing their progress as they grow. I bring more than 15 years of experience working with preschoolers in various settings, from church preschools to corporate day care centers. Most recently, I taught the 3- to 4-year-old class at Ascension Lutheran Church Extended Day Preschool in Littleton, CO, where I earned my Early Childhood Professional Certification through the State of Colorado. 

 

I have a degree in journalism from Ball State University in Muncie, IN and with that, I bring a passion to help develop a love of reading and writing in children. I believe these are essential skills for kindergarten readiness and future educational success (please find out more under my curriculum page).

 

My husband and I moved to Eden in December of 2019 and are grateful to call this place home. We enjoy the many recreational opportunities the valley has to offer (the skiing is fantastic!). I have a boy in 6th grade at Valley Elementary and a girl in 7th grade at Snowcrest.
